This Victorian establishment, founded in 1836,  has been used in many films. Interior and exterior can be seen in “Sherlock Holmes” (2009) (as Cafe Royal), but also  “The Avengers (1998)”, “1408” (2007), “Die Another Day” (2002), “The Invisible Woman” (2013), “Quantum of Solace” (2008), “The Bounty” (1984).
