Volcanic Iceland is used for many Holywood Film and TV productions. Krafla is used in “Game of Thrones” for the location of the Wall, “Batman Begins”, “Interstellar” and “Oblivion” filmed here. For the production of episode VIII, the snow battle was filmed here. Also the much greener Lake Mývatn was used as a filming location, which is nearby on Iceland.
