Armageddon – Barry Barber Ranch

In the tiny town Interior, South Dakota, big things have happened. Paul Verhoeven came there to film “Starship Troopers” in 1997, Michael Bay did this for “Armageddon”. The location for filming the surface of the asteroid is near Barry Barber Ranch. (The photo of the vehicle was taken near Paris, at Disneyland).  

The Avengers : Pensylvania

The tunnels in which Loki escapes with the hypercube, are located in Pensylvania. The largest mushroom farm in the world was used as a filming location. At One Moonlight Drive, Worthington, PA 16262, Creekside mushroom farm is located.

The Avengers – Cleveland

The laboratory used in “The Avengers” is in fact a research facility for NASA. Plum Brook Station in Ohio was dressed to suit the needs for the crew, a huge vacuum chamber was the main location.

Raiders of the Lost Ark – Anahola Mountain
