The Art Deco building called “Freemason’s Hall” can be seen in the 2009 version of Sherlock Holmes. It is a memorial to the people who were killed during WWI. In the film it has been used in the scene where Blackwood reappears before the order. The building is open to visitors.
The Grade One listed Industrial building from Victorian times, Crossness Pumping Station, was used in the 2009 version of Sherlock Holmes. Blackwood enters the sewers through this building. It is open to visitors and the building is known for its spectacular cast ironworks.
