A small copper (and gold) mine in the north of Scotland, Tomnadashan Mine. While John Campbell was unsuccessful here mining the goods, a small crew of filmmakers was very successful when they used this location as : The cave of Caerbannog. The crew was Monty Python, the film The Holy Grail. At this location, the Black Beast of Arrrghhh lives and is guarded by the killer rabbit. Luckily, there is the Holy Handgrenade of Antioch….
In the James Bond-like movie “Kingsman”, the main character can be seen in a pub, The Black Prince. This pub is very real in can be found in London in the UK. Interiors and exteriors were used for filming.
At Prince consort road, Imperial College can be visited. In the movie, this is where Harry meets Prof. Arnold (no other then Mark “Luke” Hamill).
The abandoned Magheramorne quarry has been used by HBO for “Game of Thrones”. A complete set of Castle Black has been build here as well as “The Wall” and fully realized Hardhome set. Although some interiors were build here, most were recorded in Belfast at “Paint Hall” studios.

The deserted Island where Captain Jack and Elisabeth Swan get marooned is the little Island of Petit Tabac in Saint Vincent. If you look at behind the scenes movie stills, it does not look half as bad to get stranded there…. yohoho and a bottle of rum….
