For the final scene of “Highlander” (the 1986 movie), the crew did nof return to Scotland for filming. Instead the scene was shot in Wales, Conwy. Sychnant Pass provided the mountains needed for the scene (although somewhat less impressive then those that can be found in Scotland, maybe the production ran out of money?).
