For the 1988 low-budget horror movie “Amsterdamned”, most scenes are filmed in and around Amsterdam. Although for the boat chase, the city of Amsterdam did not allow the crew to film in the Capital itself, so filming took place in the nearby canals of Utrecht. Although they look very similar, a big difference is the bars and restaurants right near the water (where the boat crashes into), these cannot be found in Amsterdam.
Most victims are “killed” in Amsterdam however, the first one on the bridge at Keizersgracht and Reguliersgracht. The second on the South shore of “het IJ” and the third at “Oude Turfmarkt”
